Felipe Bordeu

Heading

Felipe Bordeu graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Concepcion in Concepcion (Chile). He holds a Master degree and a PhD from the Ecole Normale Superieur de Cachan (France) in the field of constitutive modelling and simulation of composites materials in distributed architectures. From 2010 to 2015 he was researcher engineer at the Ecole Centrale Nantes (France). In collaboration with Prof. F. Chinesta and PhD A. Leygue he has contributed to both the development of the Proper Generalized Decomposition (PGD) method and its use in a broad variety of domains. From 2015 till now he is a researcher engineer at Safran Tech, Paris (France). His current research focuses, among others, on topological optimization for additive manufacturing and coupled problems using level-set methods, the solution of inverse and optimization problems and scientific data visualization on distributed architectures.
